National Day Reception and Georgian Traditional Clothing Exhibition

On 18 June 2026, a National Day Reception celebrating the Independence Day of Georgia was held in Kuala Lumpur, featuring a cultural exhibition “The Diversity of the Georgian National Costume”.

H.E. Irakli Asashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia, welcomed the guests and delivered a speech. The Minister of National Unity of Malaysia, Hon. Aaron Ago Dagang, also addressed guests at the event.

The reception brought together representatives from the Malaysian government, the diplomatic corps, international organizations, business circles, and members of the Georgian diaspora.
