ALEKSANDRE KHVTISIASHVILI HAS MET WITH THE AMBASSADOR-DESIGNATE OF MALAYSIA TO GEORGIA

On 6 March 2025, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Aleksandre Khvtisiashvili, held a meeting with the Ambassador-designate of Malaysia to Georgia, Ahmad Kamrizamil bin Mohd Riza, who is based in Baku.

The parties discussed a wide range of issues concerning bilateral relations between the two countries, including cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, tourism, people-to-people contacts, and education.

Special attention was given to the potential for increasing trade turnover, investment flows, and tourism between Georgia and Malaysia, as well as future plans to enhance cooperation in these areas.

Deputy Minister Khvtisiashvili expressed gratitude to the Malaysian side for its support of Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening and expanding bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
